Salinas Valley Basin Groundwater Sustainability Agency (SVBGSA) announces new General Manager Donna Meyers and new Deputy General Manager Emily Gardner and recognizes Gary Petersen with official commendation of his service as founding General Manager of the SVBGSA. Ms. Meyers has been with the GSA since August 2019 and was made General Manager on April 1, 2020 by the Board of Directors. Mr. Petersen will continue with the GSA as a Senior Advisor heading up special projects focused on the 180/400 Subbasin GSP implementation. Ms. Gardner worked previously as the Water Resources Manager for Driscolls. Ms. Gardner also served on the Advisory Committee for the SVBGSA since its inception. Ms. Gardner will be leading planning of subbasin GSPs due in 2022.
