SVBGSA hosting five community workshops on the future of groundwater management
The SVBGSA is hosting five community workshops, “Our Water Future in the Salinas Valley: Planning for Uncertainty” across the Salinas Valley in April and May 2024.
The workshops, all of which will be similar in content, will provide valuable information about how water is managed in the Salinas Valley, the steps everyone has taken toward more efficient water use, and the wide range of options to consider to ensure continued availability of water for the Salinas Valley Basin.
The locations and dates for the workshop are:
- Castroville: Friday, April 12
- Salinas: Friday, April 19
- Greenfield: Friday, May 3
- King City: Friday, May 10
- Salinas: Saturday, May 11
Workshops will run from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. each day. Preregistration is encouraged. Spanish translation will be available.
