The Fee Study is looking at several factors in determining possible funding options and will consider the unique needs of the communities within the sub-basins during the development of the fee.

After 8 months of public outreach, meetings with the SVBGSA Board of Directors, Advisory Committee and key decision makers, a draft report has been prepared for the adoption of a Regulatory Fee to fund the agency.

In brief, the Regulatory Fee that will be presented for adoption by the SVBGSA Board of Director at its February 14, 2019 meeting is calculated based on $4.79 per irrigated acre and $2.26 per service connection.

The draft report will be presented to Board of Directors at the January 10, 2019 board meeting. If approved, the Board may instruct the development of an Ordinance to adopt the Regulatory Fee to be read at the February 14, 2019 meeting.
